about

After Yrsa Sigurðardóttir used the picturesque Þrídrangar (Translated: high rock) lighthouse in one of her novels, guitarist Jussi Siglarson was fascinated by the place. Set high above the ocean, Jussi was lucky enough to fly over what is part of the Vestmann Islands in a helicopter and the song was born.

Fittingly as the song was his inspiration his guitar takes the lead and conveys the vast space and the lone light piercing the darkness of the North Atlantic.
